Job Description

Primary objective The Engineer shall have the ability to assess that the design of piping systems on a project, are in accordance with Industry Design Codes, using PC based stress programs, manual calculations and experience. The Engineer shall have adequate experience to adopt a practical approach to pipe stress problems and be familiar with the requirements/interactions of other engineering disciplines.
Specific Accountabilities

• Coordination and implementation of Piping stress engineering activities.
• Maintaining design integrity and quality within the business unit/project team.
• Appraisal, training and development of personnel.
• Promoting health, safety and environmental awareness.
• Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BUs.
• Safety Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Business Unit. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
