Job Description
Understands the section to be modelled from lead Engineer
and ensures that required prerequisite information such as design
inputs, product tools and product are available prior to commencement of
work Responsible for modelling detailed sections such as
distillation columns, Compressor with Controls & simple unit
operation such as pumps, vessels etc.
Ensures that the model delivered is within the budget and scheduled time period.
Responsible for testing the models using the standard test procedures
Responsible for adhering to quality procedures for the sections modelled.
Responsible for final model documentation.
Participates in critical phases of modelling such as Acceptance test/DCS integration
Participates in acceptance test with Lead Engineer
Skill Set should have worked in Process Simulation (OTS Operator Training Simulator) life cycle right from kick off meeting to FAT/SAT, with simulation softwares like HYSYS, Unisim, shadow plant, steady state, Dynamic Simulation.
