Job Profile for Showroom Manager:
- Gather trends from historical data in the store around sales as well as market research and provide relevant inputs to assist in the planning process
- Adhere to the budget guidelines for store
- o Implement short-term operating plans and adhere to budgets provided
- o Ensure control over operating expenses in the store
- Achieve the store sales and operating expenses targets while maintaining focus on quality of customer service in stores
- o Coordinate with merchandizing team to ensure the supply of merchandise to store as per the demand
- o Deliver store sales and operating expenses targets on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- o Ensure high level of customer service and customer delight
- o Ensure the creation of right shopping ambience in the stores
- o Adhere to reverse logistics (for old gold) guidelines as per the defined SOPs
- o Support in execution of any activities aimed at increasing sales
- Provide inputs for the merchandize requirements at the store based on store specific sales patterns and consumer preferences and provide proactive feedback on aspects of inventory levels, pricing, promotions, shelf space utilization
- Responsible for conducting daily security checks in the store
- Oversee the forecasting of demand basis the sales each day and transfer the knowledge around the fast moving designs and latest trends
- Implement the loss prevention activities in the store as per the guidelines
- o Monitor processes to minimize losses due to shop lifting or pilferage
- Generate all the required reports (Daily sales and collections, monthly and quarterly MIS, market intelligence reports etc.)
- Support business process re-engineering team in conducting audits in the store and take corrective actions for the processes which come out as improvement areas in audit results
- Provide inputs for support and execution of facility management activities
- Support Regional Marketing Manager in executing all the marketing related activities
- o Execute the advertisement and promotions plans in the store
- o Support marketing team for executing visual merchandising activities in the store
- Ensure adherence to the stores standard operating procedures to drive efficiency and utilize communication channels to provide upward feedback from time to time
- o Follow all store operations SOPs and work towards continuous improvement of the same
- o Conduct self audits in the store on regular basis
- o Oversee all point of sales activities in the store which includes - sales transactions, tracking customer orders and payments, registering sale and maintaining inventory updates, providing service, handling old gold and after sales service, gathering consumer data for feedback
- o Oversee the inventory management process in the store.
- o Oversee that the store staff is presentable and well groomed
- o Guide the staff to increase sales as well as profitability
- Monitor the overall training and development needs of staff in the store
- o Impart training regarding product knowledge, promotion offers and schemes etc.
- o Support Regional Retail Operations Manager in identifying processes and trainings on aspects which will facilitate maximizing the conversion ratio in the stores
- o Nominate staff at regular intervals for the relevant training programs
- Perform the role of a people manager
- o Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, customer focus, entrepreneurship and team work for all the employees in the store
- o Manage and support recruitment, set KRA's for direct reports, monitor overall store KRA's, conduct performance appraisal.
Job Profile for Assistant Showroom Manager:
- Assist the Showroom Manager to achieve the sales targets and maximize the sales further.
- Assist the Showroom Manager in the follow up with the order department for stocks in terms of weight distribution and variety distribution
- Assist the Showroom Manager to maintain the floor discipline and take suitable steps to avoid thefts and losses
- Assist the Showroom Manager to develop a rapport with customers and operate the PR system.
- Assist the Showroom Manager to operate and control handling customers, C.S.Es, SOs, C.S.Es, queries
- Maintaining the database of customers
- Taking care of esteemed customers, ensure the quality of the service is of highest level.
- Responsible and accountable for any customer walk outs
- Ensure proper grooming as per grooming standards.
- Ensure that all the CSE.s, SOs, CROs and support staff wear proper & complete uniform.
- Ensure that staffs conduct on shopfloor is as per code of conduct defined in the Manual and strive towards maintaining the same.
- Ensure that every staff registers daily attendance as per the attendance system followed.
Job Profile for Customer Relations Officer:
- Ensure that before opening of the store for customers, the entire store is clean and tidy.
- Ensure that his/her C.S.Es/ SOs have had proper grooming as per grooming standards and are in complete uniforms.
- Ensure that his/her C.S.Es/SOs report to duty as per the duty roster.
- Responsible for the process of transfer of jewellery from the safe to their respective counters.
- Supervision of all the activities of his/her counters sales persons.
- Ensure staff conduct is as per code of conduct defined in the Manual
- Ensure his/her team provides the best retail shopping experience to every customer entering the store.
- To do Customer Relationship Management including calls, bouquets, greetings for customers on a daily basis .
- Develop rapport with customers.
- Ensure that all the customers get uniform service and response in the store.
- Ensure budgeted per customer sales and targets (Conversion Ratio) are met.
- Ensure highest levels of service and total customer satisfaction.
- Maintain the Showroom at zero discount level to increase profitability of the Company.
- Attend to customer complaints.
- Responsible for customer walk-outs.
- Ensure that every customer who comes does not go without buying
- Maintain & update customer database on regular basis. .
- Giving discount on making charges (up to a specified limit) to the customers.
- Deal with difficult customers when the C.S.E.s & SOs cannot handle them.
- Ensure cross selling and up selling is done as per customers comfort and inform the customers about the ongoing promotional activities.

- Tele-calling customers.
- Regular coordination with the merchandisers regarding the stock required.
- Recheck all the stock requirement made by SOs before forwarding to their respective Gold Order Dept. / Diamond Order Dept.
- Maintain order file and following up with Gold/Diamond Order Dept.
- Maintain and update customer database for informing customers about the new upcoming sales schemes.
- Provide VVIP customer's database to the Showroom Manager every day.
- Responsible for after sales service like sending greetings, bouquets, gifts etc.
- Upgrade SOs and C.S.E.s about the product, design, pricing of the local competitors.
- Manage absenteeism in a manner that shop operations and sales are not affected.
- Ensuring effective internal communication within the Sales team.
- Maintain overall discipline in the Dept.
