Oil & Gas Competency Lead

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS A. Business & Team Performance Provide leadership and management for the Competency Team under them. Proactively build and grow a team culture that focuses on successful and enduring customer and internal stakeholder relationships. Assist in the effective deployment of resources within global accounts by working closely with delivery teams across regions Maintain open and ongoing communication with employees concerning individual career goals, growth opportunities within SAP and issues related to SAP growth and strategy. Recruit & Retain for the competency teams and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates at all times. Work closely with the Delivery Teams to ensure appropriate deployment and utilization of resources. Position SAP Custom Developments development framework and methodologies to prospective customers and propose appropriate resources to achieve customers vision and exceed customers expectations. Oil & Gas Competency Management Responsible for Oil & Gas skill building and workforce planning around upstream processes and technologies Production and Revenue Accounting (PRA), Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) and TSW # Visions, analyzes, prioritizes facilitates and manages competency activities # Develop and manage competency growth and skill sets # Lead knowledge management initiatives # Support Oil & Gas knowledge sharing initiatives (i.e. Focus Groups, Mentoring, Education, etc.) # Managing related budgets & distribution of budgets to development teams for competency management initiatives # Supply, Demand and Forecast (skill gap planning) Management # Lead evaluations which result in winning solutions and proposals for custom development projects # Resource allocation management across Development assignments # Identifying of training needs for strategic areas EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES University education required with preference for post graduate business and/or science degrees
