Job Description The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the profitability and overall operation of the restaurant. A majority of time is spent leading the team to meet Guest expectations, and training new members as required. The Restaurant Manager will be creative in building sales programs to leverage business opportunities and will create a competitive spirit and atmosphere of pride. This
individual will be proficient in making logical and timely decisions

Leads Operational Excellence and the Guest Experience:

1. Role models expected behavior and coaches team on hospitality standards
2. Ensures all training and reference materials are available and used by the team
3. Executes processes that ensure the restaurant meets safety and sanitation standards
4. Executes processes that ensure inside and outside cleanliness standards are met
5. Ensures self and team handles all Guest concerns
6. Responds to all Guest feedback with action plans to address opportunities
7. Ensures all shifts are appropriately staffed to achieve service with speed goals
8. Empowers the team to satisfy Guest needs and resolve concerns
9. Communicates Guest feedback to the team and involve in action plans to resolve issues

Builds Team Talent:
1. Handles all employee concerns with a sense of urgency
2. Treats all team members fairly and with respect
3. Provides coaching to team members to improve performance and ensure their growth.
4. Recognizes team members for demonstrating desired behavior and performance
5. Ensures no team members is placed in position until all training is complete
6. Provides regular communication to team including goals and results
7. Uses team member feedback to improve restaurant performance
8. Source, trains, retains, and develops team members that improve the Guest experience
9. Executes team service through effective scheduling, cross training, and deployment
10. Holds team members accountable for their behavior and performance
11. Delegates appropriately to team based on their skill level
12. Executes development plans for talented team members to grow their career
13. Maintains appropriate staffing levels to meet business needs

Drives Sales Growth:
1. Executes all in store marketing promotions in a timely and professional manner
2. Owns local store marketing in trade area, becoming integrated into the community
3. Executes new product rollouts including team training, marketing, and sampling
4. Sets goals and tracks results
5. Involves entire team by communicating goals, results, and action plans
6. Ensures each shift is appropriately staffed to meet hospitality with speed goals
7. Ensures the restaurant is well maintained including cleanliness
8. Ensure all products are available to Guests every shift and execute all products to standard
9. Utilizes appropriate suggestive selling

Manages Profit & Loss and Restaurant Compliance:
1. Analyzes business information looking for trends and identifying root causes
2. Problem solves issues and executes sound business decisions that improve performance
3. Takes accountability for all controllable profit line items on P&L
4. Executes system to control Cost of Sales to include effective ordering and inventory
5. Executes effective hiring and scheduling to meet Cost of Labor goals
6. Completes self RORs, minimum every other month, and executes actions plans to
7. address opportunities
8. Manages cash loss through cash control procedures
9. Follows a maintenance schedule for equipment and facility
10. Sets goals and track results
11. Involves entire team by communicating goals, results, and action plans

Plans and Communicates:
1. Discusses issues with other managers
2. Discusses shift plan with team
3. Involves entire team by communicating goals, results, and action plans
4. Makes adjustments to assignments during the shift to achieve goals
5. Ensures self and team handles all Guest concerns utilizing LAST with a sense of urgency
6. Executes travel paths and delegates tasks as required
7. Ensures each shift is appropriately staffed to meet hospitality with speed goals

Communications & Working Relationships:
Internal:
All Departments (IT, Maintenance, Marketing, HR, Corporate Affairs, Training, Project, Corporate Sale, MIS, Payroll, Accounts, Supply Chain, Quality Control, Six Sigma)

External:
  • Telecom service provider
  • All Utility Vendors
Desired Profile
Proper understanding of Profit & loss  accounting and Restaurant Management.

Must be open to relocate to any part of North India as-Punjab,HP,Jammu,Uttrakhand.


Experience Minimum 4-8 years experience in Food Services or Retail industry at Managerial level.
